1. Summary
AFD2110 is a vortex sensor based on the Von Karman vortices principle. Under certain conditions, when a fluid with a certain volume flow flows around a spoiler column, two linear vortices with opposite rotation direction and regular arrangement will periodically form on both sides of the spoiler column. After nonlinear action, Karman vortices are formed. The sensor chip can sense the size of the vortex to measure the flow of liquid through the pipe. The sensor has the characteristics of long service life, pollution resistance, high precision and no drift.
AFD2110 sensor has no moving parts inside and has high pollution resistance, which can guarantee the long-term use of users. Sensor communication is simple and easily connected to the microprocessor, making it ideal for demanding and cost-sensitive OEM applications.
2. Aplication
AFD2110R00 is specially design for home appliances and medical industry, and has been widely used in water heater, HVAC flow detection, heat recovery system, underfloor heating system, medical liquid flow detection system and many other scenarios.
