AFD3 series is a water flow sensor based on the von Karmen vortex principle. When the fluid flows through the disturbing column, vortices will be formed alternately and repeatedly on both sides of the disturbing column, and the formation frequency of these vortices is directly proportional to the flow rate, and the flow rate of the fluid can be calculated by measuring the frequency of the vortices. The sensor has no internal moving parts and is characterized by long service life, resistance to contamination, high accuracy and no drift, which protects the user’s long-term use and is ideal for OEM applications that require high product performance and strict cost control.
